No open banking
Almost every personal finance app starts by asking for your bank credentials. netclariq doesn't. You record your transactions yourself, or import them from the file your bank already provides, and your online banking is never exposed to a third party.

Your bank credentials never leave your bank
We never ask for your username, password or one-time codes, and we don't use an aggregator that does it for us. There are no access tokens to your accounts that could leak, and nothing to revoke: if you stop using netclariq tomorrow, there's nothing to disconnect at your bank.
- Zero bank credentials stored
- No open-banking or aggregator middlemen
- No read access to your real accounts
Importing a CSV takes seconds
Download your bank statement as a CSV and upload it. Choose which column is the date, the amount and the description, and netclariq creates the transactions against the account you pick. The second time, the mapping is remembered — it's a couple of clicks a month.
And what repeats, records itself
Your paycheck, mortgage, subscriptions and recurring bills are set up once as recurring transactions and appear every month. Categorization rules assign the category based on the transaction type or description text, so the manual part is mostly just reviewing.
- Recurring transactions with frequency and end date
- Rules based on transaction type or description text
- Fast search and entry with keyboard shortcuts
You control what you keep and where
You decide the level of detail: track every transaction, or just balances and monthly closes. Data is hosted in the EU, encrypted and isolated per workspace, and you can export it or delete your account whenever you want.
Frequently asked questions
- Isn't it more convenient to connect my bank?
- At first, yes, but it means handing permanent credentials or permissions over your accounts to a third party. With CSV import and recurring transactions, the real workload is a few minutes a month, without that exposure.
- What file formats can I import?
- CSV files with date, description and amount columns — the standard export format most banks provide.
- Will you add bank connections in the future?
- It's not on the roadmap: bank independence is a product decision, not a technical limitation waiting to be solved.
