Debts, installments and early repayments
When you log a debt with an amount, interest rate and term, netclariq generates its full amortization schedule and subtracts the real outstanding principal from your net worth, not the sum of future installments.
Installments and transactions
Each installment in the schedule can be linked to a transaction, so the payment reduces the account balance and the outstanding principal at the same time, separating interest from principal.
Early repayment
You can log an extra repayment and choose between lowering the installment or shortening the term: the schedule regenerates under the new terms.
Payoff strategy
The scenario simulator applies the avalanche strategy (highest rate first) to estimate when you'd become debt-free given the monthly surplus you define.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I delete a debt I already logged?
- Yes. Deleting it also removes its amortization schedule and its links to transactions, which remain as expenses.
- Does it support variable rates?
- You can update the rate and regenerate the schedule from the date you specify.
